Standard Chartered buys back 547,290 shares for £7.4m

Standard Chartered purchased 547,290 ordinary shares on August 21 for a volume-weighted average price of £13.60 per share, with prices ranging from £13.54 to £13.65.

The bank acquired shares across multiple venues including the London Stock Exchange and CBOE exchanges. Standard Chartered has allocated $140.3m to share purchases to date and plans to cancel the purchased shares.
