Samsonite reports 6% sales drop, 29% profit decline

Samsonite Group's net sales for the six months ended June 30, 2025, decreased 6.0% to $1,661.7 million from $1,768.5 million, attributed to cautious wholesale purchasing and weakening consumer sentiment.

Profit fell 29.4% to $130.0 million from $184.2 million. Adjusted EBITDA decreased 19.4% to $268.7 million. Gross profit margin contracted to 59.2% from 60.2%.

Marketing expenses were reduced 15.9% to $98.7 million.
