Prudential repurchases £3m of shares under buyback programme

Prudential plc cancelled 307,878 ordinary shares on August 6, valued at £9.47 per share, reducing its total issued shares to 2.58 billion.

The company also repurchased 316,341 shares on the London Stock Exchange at an average price of £9.66 per share for £3.05 million. These shares are awaiting cancellation.

Under its May 2025 mandate authorizing repurchases of up to 262.7 million shares, Prudential has bought back 27.8 million shares to date.
