Prudential repurchases 322,715 shares at £9.23 average price

Prudential plc repurchased and cancelled 322,715 ordinary shares on July 25 at an average price of £9.2294 per share, reducing its total issued shares to 2,579,600,960.

The company has additional repurchases pending cancellation totalling 620,366 shares bought on July 24-25 at prices around £9.30.

Prudential has now repurchased 25.3 million shares under its mandate authorising buybacks of up to 262.7 million shares granted in May.
