BAIC Motor invests RMB500m in automotive partnership

BAIC Motor Corporation Limited will contribute RMB500 million to become a limited partner in a new investment partnership with total capital commitments of RMB2.9 billion.

The partnership will focus on equity investments in automotive upstream and downstream sectors, clean energy, intelligent connectivity, high-end equipment manufacturing, and new materials.

BAIC Motor's contribution represents a 17.2% equity interest and will be paid in three installments. Key partners include BAIC Group, BAIC Investment, and Beiqi Foton.
