China Communications Construction appoints new chairman and director

China Communications Construction Company Limited shareholders approved significant leadership changes at an extraordinary general meeting on July 23, 2025.

Song Hailiang was appointed as executive director and elected chairman of the board, replacing Wang Tongzhou. Zhang Bingnan was also appointed as executive director, succeeding Wang Haihuai.

Song Hailiang will chair the Strategy and Investment and ESG Committee and the Nomination Committee, while Zhang Bingnan joins the Strategy and Investment and ESG Committee. All appointments took effect immediately.
