MMG reports 54% copper production jump, revises costs

MMG Limited reported a 54% year-on-year increase in copper production to 140,368 tonnes in Q2 2025, driven by strong performance at Las Bambas (up 64%), Kinsevere (up 19%), and Khoemacau (up 28%). Zinc production rose 12% to 56,176 tonnes.

Las Bambas achieved its second-highest quarterly production on record, despite roadblocks impacting transportation since late June. The mine's C1 cost guidance was revised down to $1.40-$1.60/lb.

Khoemacau is planning capacity expansion, with a feasibility study expected by late 2025.
