CICC closes $4.6m derivative in Yichang HEC privatisation

CICC Financial Trading Limited closed out a derivative contract referencing 268,000 securities in YiChang HEC ChangJiang Pharmaceutical on July 21, 2025.

The transaction occurred at a reference price of $17.21, generating total proceeds of $4.61 million. Following the closure, CICC's resultant balance in the company is zero.

The derivative closure relates to the ongoing privatisation by merger of the Chinese pharmaceutical company. CICC Financial Trading is an exempt principal trader connected with the privatisation offeror.
