China Reinsurance director resignation triggers governance breach

Jiang Bo has resigned as an independent non-executive director of China Reinsurance (Group) Corporation, effective July 22, 2025, due to personal work arrangements.

Her departure leaves the company's board with fewer than the required three independent non-executive directors, breaching listing rules requiring one-third independent director representation. The nomination and remuneration committee also no longer meets requirements for independent chair and majority composition.
