Yankuang Energy reports strong Q2 production growth

Yankuang Energy Group reported a 6.83% year-on-year increase in saleable coal production to 3,680 ten kilotons for Q2 2025.

Methanol production surged 17.13% to 107.74 ten kilotons, while urea production rose 48.69% to 24.71 ten kilotons due to new production capacity.

However, ethyl acetate production fell 52.24% to 3.97 ten kilotons and glycol production decreased 18.19% to 9.22 ten kilotons due to market adjustments.

Overseas subsidiary Yancoal Australia reported 15% higher attributable coal production at 9.4 million tons, though average realised prices dropped 22% to AUD142/tonne.
