Peijia Medical completes first patient implant of tricuspid valve system

Peijia Medical Limited announced the successful first patient implant in the global clinical study of its MonarQ TTVR system. The procedure was performed at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles by Dr. Raj Makkar and his team.

The MonarQ TTVR system treats tricuspid regurgitation and features a biodynamic attachment system that secures to native leaflets and aims to minimize paravalvular leaks. The first implant officially launches the global clinical study.
