AIA Group repurchases HK$280m worth of shares

AIA Group Limited repurchased 4 million ordinary shares on July 11, paying between HK$68.25 and HK$70.6 per share for a total of HK$279.5 million.

The buyback is part of a larger mandate approved in May authorizing repurchases of up to 1.07 billion shares. AIA has now repurchased 123.8 million shares under this program, representing 1.16% of its issued shares.
