Guotai Haitong Securities appoints new employee director

Guotai Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. announced the appointment of Wu Hongwei as employee director, following a meeting of the employees' representative assembly. Wu's term coincides with the seventh session of the board of directors, commencing July 3, 2025. He will also serve as a member of the audit committee. Wu Hongwei has held roles including deputy secretary of the CPC party committee and chairman of the labor union. As per the announcement, Wu will not receive director's fees from the Company for being the employee Director (non-executive Director) of the Company, save for the corresponding remuneration in relation to his other positions within the Company.
