WuXi AppTec completes HKD 1bn H share acquisition

WuXi AppTec Co., Ltd. (HKEX:2359) announced today the completion of the acquisition of H Shares by the Scheme Trustee, totaling HKD 1 billion, under the Additional Condition of Grant of the 2025 H Share Award and Trust Scheme. This follows a previous acquisition of H Shares amounting to HKD 1.5 billion. Between June 13, 2025, and June 27, 2025, the scheme trustee acquired 12,987,886 H Shares, representing approximately 0.45% of the company's total issued share capital, with the aim of incentivizing the company's core employees. This completes the HKD 2.5 billion purchase of H Shares under the 2025 H Share Award and Trust Scheme, with the underlying revenue realized by the Group for the year 2025 required to be RMB43 billion or above. The company cautioned that fulfillment of conditions is not guaranteed.
