China Energy Engineering chairman Song Hailiang resigns

China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited (HKEX:3996) announced the resignation of its Chairman of the Board and executive director, Mr. Song Hailiang, effective June 30, 2025. According to the announcement, Mr. Song's departure, attributed to work adjustment, includes his roles as chairman of the Strategy Committee and Nomination Committee, as well as Authorised Representative. Mr. Ni Zhen, the Vice Chairman, will temporarily assume the Chairman's responsibilities until a successor is elected. The company acknowledged Mr. Song's contributions and will initiate the process to fill the vacant positions in compliance with listing rules, with further announcements expected in due course.
