China Communications Construction proposes director, president changes

China Communications Construction Company Limited (HKEX:1800) revealed proposed changes to its leadership structure, effective June 30, 2025. The board approved the proposed appointment of Mr. Song Hailiang and Mr. Zhang Bingnan as executive directors, pending shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting. Mr. Wang Tongzhou and Mr. Wang Haihuai will resign as executive directors for personal reasons from the same date. Subsequently, the board also approved the appointment of Mr. Zhang Bingnan as the new president of the Company, succeeding Mr. Wang Haihuai. Emoluments for both Mr. Song and Mr. Zhang, including salaries, allowances, and bonuses, will be disclosed in annual reports. Details regarding these changes will be communicated to shareholders as required by the Hong Kong Listing Rules.
