WuXi AppTec completes A-share repurchase, announces cancellation

WuXi AppTec (HKEX: 2359) announced the completion of its second A-share repurchase program for 2025, executed through bidding, and will now proceed with the cancellation of these shares. Between April 18, 2025 and June 20, 2025, the company repurchased 15,775,377 A-shares, representing 0.5462% of its total issued share capital. The repurchase saw a maximum price of RMB69.87 per share, a minimum of RMB52.52 per share, and an average price of RMB63.39 per share. The total expenditure for the repurchase, excluding transaction fees, amounted to RMB1,000,001,057.93. The repurchased A-shares will be cancelled on June 24, 2025 and the Company's registered capital will be reduced accordingly. WuXi AppTec stated that this repurchase will not materially impact the company’s operations, financials, or its listing status.
