Fast Retailing subsidiary in France files for judicial recovery

Fast Retailing Co. (HKEX:6288) announced that its consolidated subsidiary, FAST RETAILING FRANCE S.A.S., initiated judicial recovery proceedings with the Paris Commercial Court on June 20, 2025, to implement business structural reforms. The move aims to revitalize the Comptoir des Cotonniers and Princesse tam.tam businesses by stabilizing finances and establishing sustainable growth amid changing customer demands. The subsidiary intends to transform its store network, consolidate locations in major cities, and offer both brands in shared retail spaces. FAST RETAILING FRANCE S.A.S.'s financial performance in FY2024 showed sales of EUR15.4 million, an operating loss of EUR5.5 million, and a net loss of EUR2.6 million. Fast Retailing anticipates a limited impact of less than 1% on its consolidated operating profit as a result of the judicial recovery.
