China Power's restructuring gets Yuanda Environmental shareholder approval

China Power International Development Limited (HKEX:2380) announced that Yuanda Environmental shareholders approved all proposed resolutions regarding the company's asset restructuring plan at a meeting held on June 20, 2025. This follows the announcement of the proposed restructuring detailed in a prior circular dated May 20, 2025. The company also clarified that illustrative financial data of target companies within the restructuring, previously disclosed on June 9, 2025, was derived from Yuanda Environmental's year-end 2024 financial statements, audited by Ernst & Young Hua Ming LLP. These statements were prepared in accordance with PRC accounting standards and reflected Yuanda Environmental's perspective on acquiring equity interests in the target companies, assuming the pre-restructuring stage had been completed.
