Unity Group expects significant profit increase for year ended March

Unity Group Holdings International Limited (HKEX: 1539) has announced a positive profit alert, projecting a net profit of at least HKD38 million for the year ended March 31, 2025. This represents a substantial increase compared to the HKD11 million net profit reported for FY2024. The expected surge is attributed primarily to a 70% increase in the Group's turnover. Additionally, the Group benefited from a net gain of approximately HKD39 million from the restructuring of certain trade receivables. The projected profit increase is partially offset by an increase of approximately HKD13 million in share option expenses compared to FY2024. The company advises that the figures are based on a preliminary review of unaudited management accounts and are subject to finalization. The annual results are expected to be published by the end of June 2025.
