Prudential plc executes share buyback program on London Exchange

Prudential plc (HKEX:2378) announced today the purchase of 700,000 of its ordinary shares through Barclays Capital Securities Limited as part of its share buyback program. The shares, priced between GBP8.9340 and GBP9.0280, with an average price of GBP8.9809, were acquired on the London Stock Exchange. The buyback was authorized by shareholders at the company's 2025 Annual General Meeting and carried out in accordance with the agreement with Barclays announced on December 5, 2024. Prudential intends to cancel the purchased shares, bringing the total number of shares in issue to 2,590,310,355, which also represents the total number of voting rights in the Company.
