China Southern Airlines reports increased passenger traffic for May 2025

** China Southern Airlines (HKEX: 1055) announced its key operating data for May 2025, revealing significant growth in passenger traffic. Passenger traffic (RPK) increased by 8.43% compared to May 2024, with domestic routes growing by 4.65% and international routes surging by 21.54%. The passenger load factor also improved to 85.91%, a 2.73 percentage point increase. Cargo capacity (ATK) increased by 8.26%, while cargo and mail traffic (RTK) rose by 9.24%. In May, China Southern added four aircraft to its fleet, including two A321NEO aircrafts, one C919 aircraft and one C909 aircraft, bringing the total fleet size to 940.
