WuXi AppTec completes HKD1.5bn H share acquisition

WuXi AppTec Co., Ltd. (HKEX:2359) announced the completion of the acquisition of H Shares by the Scheme Trustee, totaling HK$1.5 billion, under the Basic Condition of Grant of the 2025 H Share Award and Trust Scheme. The Scheme Trustee acquired 21,105,089 H Shares, representing approximately 0.73% of the company's total issued share capital, through on-market transactions as of June 12, 2025. These shares will serve as Award Shares for selected participants upon fulfillment of the Basic Condition of Grant, contingent on the Group achieving revenue of RMB42 billion or above for the year 2025. The company cautioned that the fulfillment of this condition remains uncertain and that investors should exercise caution.
