Prudential repurchases shares, cancels 650,000, plans further cancellation

Prudential plc (HKEX:2378) announced the cancellation of 650,000 ordinary shares on June 12, 2025, as part of its ongoing share repurchase program authorized at the company's 2025 Annual General Meeting. These shares, repurchased on June 10, 2025, were bought back at a price of GBP 8.8053 per share. Simultaneously, the company disclosed that it repurchased 686,291 ordinary shares on June 12 through Barclays Capital Securities Limited at an average price of GBP 8.8903, and also repurchased 300,000 shares on June 11 at GBP 8.9718, all earmarked for cancellation. The highest and lowest prices paid per share on June 12 were GBP 8.9460 and GBP 8.8040, respectively.
