China Zheshang Bank approves 2024 dividend, AGM results

China Zheshang Bank (HKEX:2016) announced the poll results of its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the details regarding the payment of the final dividend for the year ended December 31, 2024. Shareholders approved a final dividend of RMB1.56 per 10 shares, totaling approximately RMB4.284 billion. The bank will pay HKD0.170386 per H Share. The dividend will be paid in RMB for A Shares and in Hong Kong dollars for H Shares, based on the average mid-point exchange rate published by the People's Bank of China immediately prior to June 13, 2025. The payment date for H Shareholders is expected to be July 18, 2025. The register of H Share members will be closed from June 19, 2025 to June 24, 2025, inclusive, to determine dividend entitlement. The Bank appointed ABC Trustee Limited as the Hong Kong receiving agent. The AGM also approved the bank's work reports, financial reports, profit distribution plan, budget report, the appointment of accounting firms for 2025, and amendments to the authorization by Shareholders. Also approved was the resolution on issuance of RMB-denominated financial bonds. The removal of external supervisor Mr. Gao Qiang was effective June 13, 2025.
