China Evergrande Group (HKEX:3333), currently in liquidation, announced the appointment of Mr. Edward Simon Middleton and Ms. Wing Sze Tiffany Wong of Alvarez & Marsal Asia Limited as joint and several liquidators for its subsidiary, CEG Holdings (BVI) Limited. The appointment follows a winding-up order issued by the Hong Kong Court on April 28, 2025. This announcement clarifies that the previously disclosed Transfer Unwind Application will now be managed by both the Evergrande liquidators and the CEG Holdings liquidators.
