Bank of China appoints Liu Jin as executive director

Bank of China has announced the appointment of Mr. Liu Jin as Executive Director, effective June 3, 2025. The election took place at the 2025 First Extraordinary General Meeting held on April 16, 2025, and has been approved by the National Financial Regulatory Administration. Mr. Liu Jin will also serve on the Strategic Development Committee and the Corporate Culture and Consumer Protection Committee of the Board. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Liu served as Executive Vice President of the Bank from April 2024 to April 2025, and previously held various leadership positions at the China Development Bank (“CDB"). His term as Executive Director will be three years.
