Vobile Group completes HKD 513m share placement

Vobile Group (HKEX: 3738) announced the completion of its placing of 138,000,000 new ordinary shares on June 3, 2025, raising net proceeds of approximately HKD 513 million. The shares were placed at HKD 3.78 per share to no less than six independent placees. This placement represents approximately 5.63% of the company's enlarged share capital. The company intends to allocate 65% (approximately HKD 334 million) of the net proceeds towards the development and investment in artificial intelligence generated content related business. A further 10% (approximately HKD 51 million) will be used to repay interest-bearing borrowings, and the remaining 25% (approximately HKD 128 million) will support general working capital. The share placement has altered the company's shareholding structure, with placees now holding 5.63% of issued shares, while the overall percentage held by other public shareholders has slightly decreased. The total number of issued shares now stands at 2,452,998,656.
