China Merchants Securities appoints Zhu Jiangtao as president

China Merchants Securities Co., Ltd. has appointed ZHU Jiangtao as President, succeeding WU Zongmin who is retiring. The appointment, effective June 3, 2025, also sees ZHU nominated as an executive Director, pending shareholder approval at the upcoming general meeting. ZHU, aged 52, previously served as an executive director and executive vice president at China Merchants Bank. With ZHU's appointment, HUO Da will cease to be president of the Company, remaining chairman of the Board. ZHU's emoluments as president, comprising basic annual salary, performance salary, and benefits, will be disclosed in the company's annual report. Concurrently, ZHU has been appointed a member of the Strategy and Sustainability Committee of the Board, effective upon his approval as an executive Director. The committee will be chaired by HUO Da.
