China Everbright Water to issue RMB700m in MTNs

China Everbright Water Limited (HKEX:1857) announced its intention to issue RMB700 million in 2025 Third Tranche Medium Term Notes (MTNs) to institutional investors in the national inter-bank bond market of mainland China. The issuance is subject to prevailing market conditions and is expected to occur on June 5 and 6, 2025. The company intends to use the proceeds from the MTN issuance to redeem its existing perpetual medium-term notes. Both the MTNs and China Everbright Water have been assigned a credit rating of "AAA" by Shanghai Brilliance Credit Rating & Investors Service Co., Ltd. Further details regarding the issuance size and coupon rate will be announced around June 9, 2025, following completion.
