Chow Tai Fook issues clarification on 2024 annual report

Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Limited (HKEX:1929) has released a supplemental announcement to its annual report for the year ended March 31, 2024. The clarification pertains to disclosures regarding related party transactions and connected transactions under Chapter 14A of the Listing Rules. Specifically, the announcement notes that "Concessionaire fees in department stores" and "Franchise sales" entered into between the Group and “Non-controlling shareholders of subsidiaries” do not constitute connected transactions under Chapter 14A of the Listing Rules. Furthermore, all other related party transactions disclosed in Note 38 of the annual report are classified as either exempt or non-exempt connected transactions, with the company confirming compliance with Chapter 14A requirements.
