Agricultural Bank of China appoints director, completes bond issue

Agricultural Bank of China (HKEX:1288) has announced the appointment of ZHANG Qi as an independent non-executive director, effective after ratification by the National Financial Regulatory Administration. ZHANG Qi will also serve on key committees including the County Area Banking Business and Inclusive Finance Development Committee, the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and the Related Party Transactions Management Committee. This appointment follows the poll results of the first extraordinary general meeting on February 21, 2025.
