Alibaba announces dividend distribution logistics for shareholders

Alibaba Group Holding (HKEX:9988) has announced the logistics for its previously declared dividend. The dividend, totaling US$0.25 per ordinary share or US$2.00 per ADS, is comprised of an annual regular cash dividend of US$0.13125 per ordinary share or US$1.05 per ADS, and a one-time extraordinary cash dividend of US$0.11875 per ordinary share or US$0.95 per ADS. The record date for determining eligible shareholders is June 12, 2025. Payment is expected around July 3, 2025, for ordinary shareholders and around July 10, 2025, for ADS holders. Conversion between ADSs and ordinary shares will be temporarily suspended from June 6th to June 12th, 2025.
