Kingsoft reports steady Q1 2025, driven by user growth

Kingsoft Corporation (HKEX:3888) announced steady Q1 2025 results, with revenue reaching RMB2,338.0 million, a 9% increase year-on-year. Office software and services revenue increased by 6% to RMB1,301.5 million, driven by growth in WPS individual and WPS 365 businesses, while online games and others revenue grew by 14% to RMB1,036.5 million, thanks to contributions from titles like Snowbreak: Containment Zone and JX3 Online. Operating profit was RMB601.5 million. Profit attributable to owners of the parent totaled RMB283.9 million. Basic earnings per share were RMB0.21. R&D expenses increased by 16% to RMB827.9 million, reflecting investments in AI and new game genres. As of March 31, 2025, Kingsoft’s cash and bank deposits amounted to RMB22,819.0 million.
