China Southern Airlines: Agm results, supervisor changes announced

China Southern Airlines announced the results of its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on May 23, 2025, where all proposed resolutions were passed. Shareholder voting saw strong support, with 69.38% of shares represented, or 12,571,491,445 shares out of 18,120,916,041. In a leadership transition, Mr. Ren Ji Dong has retired as Supervisor, with Mr. Zhang Tao elected as his replacement and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee. Mr. Zhu Hai Ping was appointed as an independent non-executive Director. The AGM also saw changes to the Audit and Risk Management Committee, Nomination Committee, and Aviation Safety Committee with the appointment of Mr. Zhu to these committees.
