Smart Globe Holdings appoints new chief executive officer

Smart Globe Holdings Limited (HKEX:1481) has announced a change in its executive leadership, effective May 22, 2025. Mr. NG Ho Lun has resigned from his position as Chief Executive Officer but will remain an executive Director and Chairman of the Board. Replacing him is Mr. CHU Lok Fung Barry, previously an executive Director, who has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer. The company stated that these changes aim to provide clearer division of responsibilities within the company's leadership structure and to improve segregation of the Board's management from the Group's overall business. Mr. Chu's annual remuneration is set at HKD120,000 plus discretionary bonus. Smart Globe Holdings confirms that these changes ensure full compliance with applicable code provisions of the Corporate Governance Code.
