Liaoning Port appoints Dr. Li Guofeng as chairman

Liaoning Port Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 2880) announced the re-designation of Dr. Li Guofeng from non-executive Director to executive Director and his appointment as Chairman of the Board, effective May 20, 2025. The changes follow a Board meeting where resolutions were passed to realign the company's leadership structure. Dr. Li, born in 1974, previously held key positions at China Merchants Holdings (International) Company Limited and Liaoning Port Group Limited. He holds degrees in Economics and Transportation Economics. Dr. Li will also assume the role of chairman of the strategic and sustainable development committee, and member of the nomination and remuneration committee. Mr. Wang Zhu has been appointed as member of the audit committee, while Dr. Li will cease to serve as a member of the audit committee. The company confirms that no remuneration or bonus will be paid to Dr. Li for his services as a Director.
