Guangzhou Auto's April production, sales volume declines year-on-year

** Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (HKEX:2238) reported a decrease in both production and sales volume for April 2025. Production reached 108,620 units, a 25.74% drop compared to April 2024, bringing the accumulated production to 519,825 units, down 5.33% year-on-year. Sales volume totaled 116,440 units, a 12.66% decline, with year-to-date sales reaching 487,527 units, a 10.22% decrease. Among the key entities, GAC Honda's production decreased by 43.74% and sales by 25.06%. GAC Toyota experienced a smaller production decline of 7.84% but saw a sales increase of 2.08%. GAC Motor's production fell by 29.92% and sales by 34.67%. GAC AION reported declines of 30.95% and 9.64% in production and sales, respectively.
