Country Garden extends RSA fee deadlines amid restructuring efforts

Country Garden Holdings Company Limited (HKEX:2007) has announced an extension of the early-bird and general RSA fee deadlines as part of its ongoing efforts to implement a holistic solution to address its material offshore indebtedness. As of May 9, 2025, holders representing over 50% of the aggregate principal amount of the Existing Public Notes have acceded to the RSA. Understanding that many other creditors are supportive of the Proposed Restructuring but are going through internal procedures, the company has exercised its discretion to extend the Early-Bird RSA Fee Deadline from 5:00 p.m. Hong Kong time on May 9, 2025, to 5:00 p.m. Hong Kong time on May 23, 2025, and the General RSA Fee Deadline from 5:00 p.m. Hong Kong time on May 23, 2025, to 5:00 p.m. Hong Kong time on June 6, 2025.
