Hope Education clarifies share option details in 2024 report

Hope Education Group (HKEX:1765) issued a supplemental announcement today clarifying details regarding its share option scheme as outlined in its annual report for the year ended August 31, 2024. The announcement specifies that a total of 190,000,000 share options were granted on September 26, 2023, to 18 eligible participants, with an exercise price of HKD 0.493 per share. Notably, 33,559,000 options were cancelled during the reporting period. Mr. He Shengli and Mr. Tang Jianyuan resigned on 5 January 2024 and 27 September 2024 respectively. As of August 31, 2024, the number of options available for grant under the 2022 Share Option Scheme is 58,808,248 Shares. Ms. Lou Qunwei has also resigned from her executive positions with the company but will remain as a senior vice president. The company's board confirms that, apart from these clarifications, the content of the 2024 annual report remains unchanged.
