EuroEyes reports slight decrease in Q1 2025 eye surgeries

EuroEyes International Eye Clinic (HKEX: 1846) announced that the total number of eye surgeries performed in the first quarter of 2025 reached 6,997, a 3% decrease compared to the 7,234 surgeries in the same period of 2024. However, this figure represents a 6.7% increase compared to the previous quarter's 6,553 surgeries. The company attributes the improvement over the previous quarter to a rise in lens exchange surgeries and a recovery in Denmark. The clinic's flagship location in London and new clinics in Germany also exceeded internal expectations. The announcement cautioned investors regarding the unaudited nature of the figures.
