China Merchants Securities' executive director and president to resign

China Merchants Securities Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 6099) announced that Mr. WU Zongmin will resign from his positions as executive Director and president due to retirement. The resignation from the president position will be effective May 6, 2025, while the other resignations will take effect upon the election of a new Director at the Shareholders' General Meeting. Mr. WU also served on the Strategy and Sustainability Committee and the Risk Management Committee of the Board. During the vacancy, Mr. HUO Da, chairman of the Company, will temporarily fulfill the president's duties. The Board expressed its gratitude to Mr. WU for his contributions to the Company.
