Kingsoft adjusts book closure period for 2024 AGM

Kingsoft Corporation (HKEX:3888) has announced a change to its book closure period in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM, initially slated for May 22, 2025, will now be held on May 29, 2025. Consequently, the register of members’ book closure period has been revised to May 26-29, 2025, and June 4-9, 2025, during which no share transfers will be registered. To be eligible to attend and vote at the AGM and qualify for the final dividend, shareholders must lodge share transfers with Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited by 4:30 p.m. on May 23 and June 3, 2025, respectively. In a separate circular, Kingsoft also outlined proposals for the AGM, including general mandates to issue and repurchase shares, the re-election of retiring directors, the continuous appointment of an independent non-executive director serving more than nine years, and the adoption of the BKOS 2025 Share Incentive Scheme. This scheme proposes the grant of restricted A shares of BKOS (Beijing Kingsoft Office Software, Inc.) to incentivise employees. The adoption of the BKOS 2025 scheme is conditional on approval from both Kingsoft and BKOS shareholders.
