Dongfang Electric (1072.HK) reports 9.9% increase in revenue

Dongfang Electric Corp (HKEX:1072) today released its first-quarter report for 2025, revealing a strong financial performance. Total operating income reached CNY16,548,081,132.37, a 9.9% increase compared to the same period last year, while operating income increased by 10.06% to CNY16,290,954,843.58. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose significantly by 27.39% to CNY1,153,823,686.96. The company also announced new effective orders totaling RMB35.881 billion for the quarter, with a focus on high-efficiency clean energy and renewable energy equipment. Basic and diluted earnings per share both saw a 27.59% increase, reaching 0.37 RMB/share. However, net cash flow from operating activities was negative, with a figure of CNY-3,292,867,654.62.
