Huadian Power International progresses joint venture formation

Huadian Power International Corporation Limited (HKEX:1071) announced progress in the formation of a joint venture company. On April 28, 2025, the company, along with Shandong Luzhong Holding Group Co., Ltd, and China Huadian Hong Kong Company Limited, formally entered into an Investment Framework Agreement. The connected transaction has been considered and approved by the Board, with independent Directors expressing their consent. This announcement follows the initial announcement made on March 27, 2025, and a supplemental announcement on April 8, 2025, regarding the formation of the Joint Venture Company.
