Guotai Junan Securities changes name to Guotai Haitong Securities

Guotai Junan Securities Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 2611) has announced that it has completed the procedures for the change of its company name to Guotai Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. The change will also apply to the stock short name, which will be updated to "GTHT" in English and "國泰海通" in Chinese, effective at 9:00 a.m. on April 30, 2025. The stock code for the H Shares remains unchanged at "02611." The company has also obtained a Certificate of Registration of Alteration of Name of Registered Non-Hong Kong Company from the Registrar of Companies in Hong Kong. The debt stock short names of relevant debts which the Company acted as the guarantor remain unchanged as “GTJA HOLD N2604” and “GTJA HOLD N2706", and the stock codes of the relevant debts remain unchanged as “40649” and “05041", related to U.S.$500,000,000 2.00 per cent. guaranteed notes due 2026 and U.S.$400,000,000 floating rate guaranteed notes due 2027 respectively. Existing share certificates bearing the former name remain valid.
