China Communications Construction reports 9% revenue increase

China Communications Construction Company Limited reported a substantial increase in its key operational data for the first quarter of 2025. The Group's new contracts reached RMB553,034 million, a 9.02% increase compared to the same period last year and achieving 27% of its annual goal. Infrastructure construction led the way with RMB493,500 million, followed by RMB15,516 million in infrastructure design, and RMB41,018 million in dredging. Overseas markets also saw strong growth, with new contracts valued at RMB106,877 million (approximately USD15,023 million), representing a 17.14% increase and accounting for 19% of the Group's total new contracts. While emerging business areas saw a decrease of 17.80%, energy engineering projects increased by 185.36%. Major contracts signed include the Adelaide North-South Corridor Project and the newly-built Yichang-Fuling High-speed Railway.
