Prudential executes share buyback on London Stock Exchange

Prudential plc (HKEX:2378) announced today that it purchased 260,000 of its ordinary shares through Barclays Capital Securities Limited on the London Stock Exchange. The shares were bought back at prices ranging from GBP7.7520 to GBP7.9400, with an average price of GBP7.8874. The total number of shares in issue following the buyback will be 2,608,737,013, representing the total number of voting rights. The company intends to cancel the repurchased shares. This buyback was executed in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the company's 2024 Annual General Meeting and adheres to both London Stock Exchange rules and the Hong Kong Code on Share Buy-backs.
