ENN Energy privatization advances, anti-trust consultation complete

ENN Energy Holdings (HKEX:2688) is proceeding with its pre-conditional proposal to privatize the company by way of a scheme of arrangement under Section 86 of the Companies Act, as announced jointly with ENN Natural Gas Co., Ltd. and Xinneng (Hong Kong) Energy Investment Limited. A key step has been completed with the conclusion of consultations with the Anti-Trust Bureau of SAMR, which confirmed that the proposal and the ENN Share Option Offer do not constitute a concentration in business operations, thus waiving the need for a merger control filing.
