Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank appoints new chairman

Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 3618) has announced the nomination of Liu Xiaojun as an executive director and his subsequent election as Chairman. The Board of Directors proposed the nomination of Mr. Liu Xiaojun, who confirmed his agreement. Mr. Liu's term as chairman is effective from the date of his appointment as executive director, pending approval from the general meeting of the Bank and qualification approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration Chongqing Office. His term expires with the current session of the Board. The announcement also confirms the current board members, including Executive Director Mr. Sui Jun, and non-executive and independent non-executive directors.
